Demonstration plots using various Nitrogen rates. |

Allow producers to see first hand the effects different rates of nitrogen or manure have on their yield. |

Results will prove to producers that they can use a lower N rate and still achieve yield success. |

Available to any producer in the Maple River Watershed. |

Field size should be 50 acres or more. |

Application |

Applications are available at the Blue Earth Soil and Water office and will be accepted for the 2007, 2008 cropping years. |

Funding and Standards |

|
Plots will be designed with cooperation with Blue Earth Consulting. |
|
|
Each producer will receive a $500 check ($750) is a zero rate is used. |
